With two others, I set up Chelmsford Arts Laboratory in the 1960s, which ran for about 5 years. Since then my work in the arts has included pretty-much all roles in the theatre including chairing Combined Actors Of Cambridge and Babylon Arts in Ely, as well as writing numerous plays and performance pieces, fronting bands, hosting events, and doing stand-up comedy in Raleigh, NC, in the USA a few years ago. I am 77 now but I still work like I'm 25. Currently a board member of Ely Arts Festival.
