My name is Giuseppe Morena, also known as Joe. I am a DJ, producer, remixer, and live electronic artist, and one half of the Self Preservation Society. Over the course of my career, I have had the privilege of remixing for internationally recognised artists including The Human League, Dave Stewart, Eternal, and many more.

I have collaborated with Darren Emerson for his Detone label and live performances, and from I worked alongside ex-Prodigy member Leeroy Thornhill within the electro breaks scene. I am currently revisiting my techno-house roots through a new live collaboration with Dave Gooday and Simon Granger of Nitzer Ebb under the project name STARK x Giuseppe Morena.

My creative work has also been connected to Chelmsford, including composing the music for Concrete Canvas. I will be delivering music production and DJing workshops in Chelmsford for young people who are not currently in mainstream education.
