I was a prinary school teacher for 13 years and now write children's picture books and middle grade books. My debut picture book, Nen and the Lonely Fisherman, won the Polari Prize for Best Children's Book. My other picture books include Superheroes in the Park, The Woodcutter and the Snow Prince, Millie's Big Decision, Rory's Room Of Rectangles, and Violet's Tempest. My middle grade books include Glitter Boy, The Boy Who Cried Ghost and The Dad Trap. I enjoy visiting schools and talking to children about my writing journey and what it's like to be an author.
