Naz Sheikh
He/Him
I’m Naz Sheikh, a Chelmsford-based actor, originally from Bangladesh. I completed my MA in Acting at Drama Studio London in 2024, following a change of direction later in life.
I’m drawn to stories about family, migration and belonging, and the humour and emotion in everyday lives. My solo show, FLIGHT: One Man’s Journey, written by Martin Lytton and directed by Jacquie Crago, won Best in Fringe at the Greater Manchester Fringe 2026 and received three nominations at Buxton Fringe.
Through my work with Pricking Thumbs Theatre, I hope to bring people together and share stories that stay with them. I’d love to meet fellow creatives in Chelmsford, explore opportunities to collaborate, and play a part in the city’s creative community.
